A giclee (gi·clée) is a reproduction of an original work utilizing scanning and ink jet printing. It incorporates six or more archival inks. Because it uses archival inks and papers, the prints last much longer without fading compared to standard ink jet printing. Each canvas receives a satin spray which is applied to protect the surface of the print and provides a very high level of UV light protection.
